Bluefly.com Stock Hits Trading Milestone; Company To Redeem Warrants on January 21, 1999

BusinessWire, Tuesday, December 22, 1998 at 07:49

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 1998--Bluefly, Inc. (NASDAQ
SmallCap: BFLY, BFLYW/BSE: BFL, BFLW), an internet retailer of
designer fashions at outlet store prices (www.bluefly.com), announced
today that it plans to redeem all of its outstanding warrants on
January 21, 1999 at 5:00 p.m. (E.S.T.). Under the terms of the
warrants, when the Company's common stock closes at or above $8.25 for
20 out of 30 consecutive trading days, the Company may opt to redeem
the warrants upon at least 30 days' prior written notice.
"Thursday, December 17th marked the 20th trading day in a row
that our stock traded above the required level for the Company to call
the warrants and that certainly was a proud moment for all of us who
have worked so hard to launch this new business," said Ken Seiff,
Chief Executive Officer of Bluefly, Inc.
Each warrant (which trades under the ticker symbols BFLYW and
BFLW) entitles the holder to purchase one share of the Company's
common stock at a price of $5.00 per share. All warrants which have
not been exercised by 5:00 p.m. (E.S.T) on January 21, 1999 will be
redeemed at a price of $0.01 per warrant. Persons interested in
exercising their warrants should read the prospectus which has been
mailed to them along with the notice of redemption and may also
contact the Shareholder Services Department of American Stock Transfer
& Trust, the Company's transfer agent, at (718) 921-9200.
