Kaplan made that argument today after Japan decision to let bonds accelerate upward in yield. He is predicting higher US bond rates for long term debt and lower/stagnate on the short term. And you?

It seems to me that a shift away from US debt(by asia/euro) is already taking place. If the FED must be the buyer of last recourse when they dump, what IYO will that do to the US$?
