Insatiable demand for bandwidth on wireline & wireless networks as well as voice and data is a key driver.

The latest BusinessWeek has a piece about the ever-increasing need for bandwidth and the dominance of companies like TCI and their @Home service in providing high-speed data access to homes. I'd suggest everyone grab a copy and take a look. Though I don't recall a specific mention of LU, it's pretty easy to put 2 and 2 together and figure out that if a company like AOL is screaming to get its millions of customers onto TCI's high-speed cable pipe, you can bet companies like LU are going to figure into the profits of future network upgrades, ESPECIALLY following a T/TCI deal.

Makes a fella's mouth water.
