Re: "By the way, children--how do you expect anyone to take your predictions of disaster for AMD seriously when you ALL REMAIN (OR CLAIM TO REMAIN) LONG THE STOCK?"

I hold no AMD shares. I am short AMD PUTs.

BTW: Yes those K6-3 benchmarks do look good. Where can I buy one?

Kevin, re:http://www.anandtech.com/reviews/processors/k63/amds_k63.htm

Imagine the margin of superiority of the K6-3-450 under Windows NT when "Uncle Tom" tests it on a decent system with 128M RAM and a fast SCSI disk. (It is well documented that the Intel busmaster drivers cheat on any Winstone test by ignoring the cache clear command included in the benchmark before each iteration.)
