You cut only part of my post and the part you didn't post was I assume the accusations were correct, perhaps that was wrong I had the sense that the accusations were correct. Perhaps I should more plainly say that, as a republican, in each case, early on I concluded that the republican was wrong. And I would not support a republican that was wrong just because they were a republican. I stated that I might have judged Thomas on incorrect evidence, but it was the only evidence I had. My point, perhaps strained, is that I wouldn't back my political guy if he broke the law.
