John,

Just my 2 centsworth, it's not that anyone on this thread may know something that the market doesn't, rather it's that the market doesn't know about the company.

Ahmad

Small stocks are underfollowed.

It's quite possible for you or anyone else to know more than the market. The best reason to own Phoenix is the lack of competition. The trustbusters could see the potential and the EE Times article recently posted sees it, too. Perhaps your broker missed these stories.

Vitesse is a good company, but GaAs is an inherantly costly material to manufacture. IBM is challenginng them with SiGe and they intend to take market share. Under you have a process technology background, you shouldn't be invested in the company.

Integrated Systems is in a highly fragmented and competitive industry. They used to be way ahead of Wind River, but have fallen behind in the last few years. Microsoft has targeted the market for growth and it looks like the profit potential is limited, although the market size will expand. INTS has made very little, if any, profits in the last few years and the CEO was recently fired. Do you really want to invest in a company with a green CEO?

As Fred Fahmy points out, the problem with this company is management credibility. If you believe that earnings will increase, their credibility will return and the stock price will increase. Otherwise, your money belongs elsewhere.
