I suggest you read a little better. I posted the information from
an article claiming that BCT will not pay $1.2M for a FC Bus and
that the price would have to come down to more than less than $600,000. Gee that is a > $600,000 price cut more than enough to
cover labour costs even if they are only lowly paid PHDs. Professional
Engineers would get their Technician or Technologists to do the dirty
work.

"Go complain to George Puil,Chairman of the Greater Vancouver Transit Authority. Tell him to do his research. I assumed he did ask how much
the buses would cost - $1.2 MILLION."

Do PHDs get paid more than a TQ Heavy Duty Mechanic? Not by much probably in some cases even less. UAW auto workers get paid $50/hour including benefits.

I suggest you post the research you did of all the salaries of all the Ballard personnel assembling the buses. How else are buses built except by hand on a prodcution line?
Except at Ballard they hand-slapped it together without thinking how the Heavy Duty mechanics would fix things. Thats a PHD for you, no practical experience. This is not the first generation of Buses BUT the THIRD generation of buses sent to the CTA. The high cost is from the slow inexperienced PHDs cludging things up even after 3 iterations.

These are 6 hand-built prototypes built by Phd's. BLD is aiming to mass produce and knows they must be able to sell them at or near a regular bus. That's a dumb comment even for you CR.

I suggest if the shorts did some research into this company they might disappear, but perhaps that's too much to hope for.
