That's what I thought when I got in at $18.

Tough to predict a bottom with this management team in place,
and with as you point out, tax-loss selling season at hand.

Daniel and M., I agree with you that cien is likely to be weak through Dec. I'm thinking of buying early January if stochastics look favorable. If I had shares now and didn't need the tax loss, I'd hold, hoping for a runup in January. BTWDIK

DAN -- I agree with your analysis that CIEN price weakness is due to tax loss selling --- good time to pick up shares at depressed prices,
but not many days left in year to do so.
