Delta orders 49 Boeing jets worth $3 bln
SEATTLE, Dec 22 (Reuters) - Delta Air Lines Inc. has ordered 49 Boeing Co.
(NYSE:BA - news) jets valued at nearly $3.1 billion in the past nine months as part
of a plan to modernize and standardize its fleet, the manufacturer said Tuesday.

This order is an historic one for Boeing as all of the planes were purchased
through Boeing's new web site. Buyplanes.com was designed to streamline the
order process and promote using e-commerce solutions for buying commercial
aircraft online. Boeing's web site currently accepts American Express, Visa,
Mastercard and the Discover Card.

Sorry Delta, you are over limit on your card.
