CINCINNATI --Fourth-ranked Cincinnati unleashed its full-court press and scored 62 points in the first half Tuesday night as it stayed unbeaten with a 115-78 victory over Houston.

Bearcats improved to 10-0 -- the fifth-best start in school history -- by hitting uncontested 3-point shots and stopping overmatched Houston (4-5) with its swarming defense in the Conference USA opener for both teams.

Pete Mickeal scored 18 of his 20 points in the decisive first half and Alvin Mitchell had a career-high 21 as Cincinnati put up its biggest point total since a 116-63 victory over Dayt

Thanks for the update Keith; while I am always glad to hear of great basketball victories from Bearcat, my focus as a long suffering shareholder is to get some pickup in the STF/BEA. Lets hope for a cold remainder of the winter, an economic pick up in Asia, bit of turbulence in the Middle East and some more drilling and positive results in Turner Valley. In any event, nothing left to do this year but enjoy Christmas, lick wounds and go skiing. Have a Merry Christmas and thanks to all who provide updates and info.
