Fed keeps rates steady
The Federal Reserve opted to keep short-term interest rates unchanged Tuesday, a sign the Fed believes its three previous rate cuts this year provide enough fuel to keep the U.S. economy on track. The Fed's Open Market Committee meets again in February.
