George,
Talking to yourself is the first signs of.... I forgot. Well then on to your questions.

Since all the paper work is in play (or finished) does anyone think there will be any announcement or warning before we would go on the AMEX-or will we just suddenly be there one morning?

I have seen other stocks in the past have just such a scenario happen. AMEX would issue a press release the morning of the move at 9am welcoming the company aboard and the stock would begin trading with it's new symbol at 9:30am. I would just love for that to be the case with us<G>.

Also, if this second QP suddenly ends with the announcement we're being sold and the price spikes waaaaaay up, for those of us holding our certificates, wouldn't that dictate a mad rush to our brokers if we wanted to take a bit off the table?

Yes, that is a distinct possibilty. But on the flip side is I want to see the deal, who it's with and the value before I make that mad dash. The rush to sell is actually a buying op if we are still here on the bb and the mm's do their normal shake and bake routine.

then what is the reasoning of not having our certificates positioned back in our accounts at this time?

That is a question that only you can answer for yourself if you are comfortable having your certs in your hands or not. As long as we are on the bb they are safer where they are. Check with your broker to see if they allow you to overnight your cert the day you sell. With my local broker, Scottsdale, I can sell with no shares in my account as long as I bring in my cert within 3 days. I do not have an answer for other broker houses.

LONG AND STRONG!!! GO DCTC!!!!

Bruce

GWB,
<<<<then what is the reasoning of not having our certificates positioned back in our accounts at this time? >>>>

IMO, we should definitely keep our certs as long as we are still on the BB. There is no sense in giving those people who make a good living at short selling another chance at us. If the company receives an offer you might not want to sell if it is from a good company. If the stock runs up, it more than likely will stop short of the actual offer price.

Best Regards
