There are at least three issues here. There is no way to totally separate them because they are in context.
1) Clinton has some not so hidden skeletons in his closet. Other people have them too.
2) The dishonesty of a trusted leader breeds contempt not esteem.
3) Politics thrives on alliances based in adversarial relationships.

L. Flynt wants to focus only on the first issue and paint bill clinton as a picked on victim. It enables the people who buy his magazine to feign their support for victims, while enabling his style of exploitation and debasement of the human condition to prosper.
