>>NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Latin American stocks ended lower in scant volume on Tuesday as investors slipped into a holiday mood and away from the market, traders said.
<Picture>In the absence of firm direction in Brazil, profit-taking took over after Monday's 6-percent market gain.
<Picture>The blue-chip Bovespa index ended down 87 points, 1.2 percent, at 7,115. Volume was estimated at a paltry 317 million reais ($264 million).

Good thing I dumped my AOL before the bell today at 122. I just saw where AOL is being added to the S&P 500, now trading at 135 in after hours trading. My typical luck <gg>. AOL from 80 to 135 in 3 days
and it's a lagger in the market these days!
