I noticed MALL still holds 80% of UBID and will distribute that to MALL Shareholders after 180 days (or is it 120 days). Do you know the details of this distribution. If this was going to happen, MALL may not be a bad buy considering that fact that eventually you will end up with UBID!!! Any comments.

Also, checked some reports from Jupiter Communication and for some reason they do not like UBid a lot very biased towards ONSL and EBAY. Thinks that todays move was largely due to the news regarding ONSL.

Goodluck,

SHG re:scoffing. You apparently misunderstood my post. I'm a big believer in these stocks -- hence my post "EBAY -- the beginning of the end of classified ads." While these stocks certainly will take big hits from time to time, most people don't realize what's going on here. The Internet is causing a fundamental shift in the way people do business.

Does it may sense to have tens of millions of copies of classified ads distributed every day, which people don't read and then (hopefully) recycle? I don't think so. I expect the E-Bay model to continue to grow, with offshoots on the local level to make the distribution of everyday items, usually sold via classifieds, simple.

I'm big into techstocks, with a decent proportion of my portfolio in the Web stocks, so I take great offence at your accusation of me "scoffing." I assume it was just a misunderstanding. If you reread my original post and take it literally, you'll get my true meaning.

As for being happy and well, I've made hundreds of thousands in these tech stocks in the past few months, so my money is where my mouth is.

Peace.
