rich, yes, however, that relativism has been tried and true over time. actually, i think feb 1996 still had aggressive historical valuations.

what i DIDN'T do is pick the 1996 low - my price was nearly 70% of the low and i didn't pick the most depressed stocks in the market compare to amat.

you are correct, but there are some not so subtle differences.
