I am anticipating that the OSX will dip below 47.39 tomorrow in its quest of a new low below the Oct low of 45.53. An ultimate low of approx 42-43 would be expected and will either go straight down Wed and Thurs or dip below 47.39 then rally to say 50ish then straight down again. One way or another, it would be heartening from an elliott standpoint for the OSX to print below 45.53 in the next few days. At that point, a strong rally could be expected-not before. my 2c.

George,

The majors will bring in much needed capital investment. Their business is finance, economics, geoscience, candidate and option generation and well productivity monitoring.

The hands on work of running equipment will still be done by the likes of SLB, HAL and BHI. Drilling activity might not see a rebound for western companies as the Saudis and others run their own drilling rigs.

Paul.
