Regarding exit strategies from the semiconductor capital equipment sector, some ideas I have for sell indicators are: 1. When bookings, as reported by SEMI, are making new highs. 2. When you see large numbers of semiconductor equipment executives, from several companies, selling stock. (Insider trades are reported in the business section of each Monday's San Jose Mercury News.) 3. When AMAT splits. Unfortunately, I haven't done enough historical research to determine the validity of these possible indicators.
