<and since George and Frank aren't around as much anymore (the sinking rats left our deserted ship) there's not many to pick on.>

This Rat is still here and other than some international travel and being detained, never left. As always feel free to pick on me :-).

I fully expect to see our new CEO on CNBC within 45 days, thats more than a guess or hunch.

Hi Jerry,

Nope, didn't take it personally. I know better.<g> Just figured it was a good opportunity to state my position so all the folks that loaded up at 9 1/4 yesterday don't think I'm an evil short player trying to talk the price down. Happy New Year.

Hi Hamid,

Although I try to read as many technical articles as I can that relate to my investment, I consider myself to be technically challenged. I probably wouldn't recognize a server if one came up and bit me on the leg unless it was in a restaurant. I have a reasonable idea how things work but it's strictly from a laymans view point. Every once in a while someone will point out that I don't know what I'm talking about, which I will cheerfully admit and happily ignore. So with that in mind, I sort of don't think Zion relates much to S3. If I'm reading the article you posted correctly, Zion would be more for corporate intranets and wouldn't have much affect on the desktop and notebook market where S3 products are focused.

As to when S3 will have a chip set with integrated core logic, well...."they" say 1999. I'd love to see it, but if they have a stable, bug free product to ship before the end of next year, I'd be real surprised. We'll see.

Regards,

Don
