- hang in there - I can't see why dstm hasn't been rallying with the best of 'em... - Revenues of over $25 mill/qtr - record earnings - excluding the write off in R&D - $.20/share - Book value of $4 a share, e-commerce initiative in '99, dstm was $27 1/2 just a few months ago - you get the picture... I agree, this has to be tax loss selling; b/c there's no other way to explain it.

Dann, My thinking is the same (tax-loss selling). I spoke with the company on the 22nd: although they are in their quiet period, I can only pick up good vibrations and can not confirm any negative news anywhere. As a matter of fact, with the stock at a 52-week low here at $9, I just reviewed 2 research reports written on 12/9/98 that tout the stock at a strong buy! The two research reports are: Robinson-Humphrey, dated 12/9/98: Short Term Price Target: $20 (we see excellent upside opportunity) IJL Equity Research, dated 12/9/98: Target Price: $22, Strong Buy Rating Both analysts spoke with DSTM's senior management this month! (that tells me the quarter must be going very well!). With a PE around 10 (looking at 99 earnings around $.96 -- this looks very promising). I think we have a winner here at a great entry price! I am still buying more in the 9 range. Mark
