I don't think they missed the mark at all (Campbell).
We are going to see these spikes in price until the world wakes up to the fact that reserves are not being replenished as quickly as necessary. That day has not come yet, but it isn't too far away.
This price swing is temporary. It will probably swing back in the opposite direction just as hard.
There have already been enough production cuts to correct it with some time. But,I am betting, further cuts will come from exasperation within the producing countries that want the change sooner. It will set up much higher prices for a while. They almost always overdo themselves.
