Yah, I saw it. EB was very subdued and the CNBC guys didn't ask, or bring up, anything new as far as I was concerned. It was just sort of "doing better, huh?" type of interview. If I find the interview on the CNBC site, I'll post a URL for you. Did any of you watch Eric B.'s interview on CNBC? How was it? o~~~ O

Ericb on CNBC I don't think short interviews like the one today give Ericb the chance to state his case very well. They should let him on for longer interviews so he can discuss some specifics. He didn't seem to be very into speaking in sound bites today. He basically restated the momentum thing. The 60% product data. Said they expected reasonable growth in next quarters. Mentioned the CB9000 platform in regards to competition with Cisco in large enterprises. Also mentioned that 3Com spreads across many market segments. Advertising expenses to pick up for "More Connected" branding. When asked about competition in Palm, refocused the conversation on wireless aspects of these devices. Great focus and expectations here. Nothing earth shattering. 3Com will need to continue to retell the story over and over to get the bulk of the Money Managers on board. Tim

Jim I watched the interview (even have it on videotape!) and have to say that I don't think that I have seen Eric B smile so much! I have seen a lot of his interviews over the years and I strongly got the impression that he was happy and relieved to have finally turned the corner at 3Com. The problem he has is talking in "engineer speak" which leaves the interviewers sorta lost in space. I liked what he had to say though. This stock has "officially turned the corner" in my book. After having held 10,000 shs in a margin account and paying margin on it since October of last year (cost basis $47.25 a share) I knew this baby would turn around!..........Finally! An early Merry Xmas to all! Eric
