Winspear Resources Ltd - Winspear shares purchased by Jim Pattison Winspear Resources Ltd WSP Shares issued 33,721,333 1998-12-22 close $3.26 Tuesday Dec 22 1998 Mr. Nick Desmarais reports Jim Pattison has acquired through Great Pacific Industries Inc., a wholly-owned company, a total of 1,900,000 flow through units of Winspear Resources Ltd. The total holdings of Jim Pattison are 2,893,500 shares of Winspear (representing 7.41 per cent of the outstanding shares). The flow through units consist of one flow through share and one warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional flow through share within a 12 month period. If Mr. Pattison exercised all of the 1.9 million warrants and acquired an additional 1.9 million flow through shares and no other warrant holder exercised their warrants, Mr. Pattison would hold 4,793,500 shares (or 11.17 per cent). If Mr. Pattison exercised his warrants and all other warrant holders exercised their respective warrants, Mr. Pattison's holding of 4,793,500 would represent 10.88 per cent of the shares of Winspear. The flow through units of Winspear have been purchased and are presently being held for investment purposes. In the future, Jim Pattison may acquire additional shares or dispose of such subject to a number of factors, including general market and economic conditions and other investment and business opportunities available to him.
