That is why I recommended installing NT on its hardrive with
the second harddrive unplugged

True enough....I don't know how I could have forgotten that, but I did. Wish I could upgrade my personal memory as easily as my computers.

I passed your post along to Jon....I guess he didn't bother to take the recabling method too seriously when I first emailed it to him last week. Thanks ZP.

Clarence

OT...new Celeron running at 400 MHz...what's going to happen to the 300a oc...besides making it cheaper? see URL:
crw.com Thanks for all that all of you do...this is a very interesting, civil thread. Thinking of building my first in the new year...a trading machine...and, using my current one for a backup...was thinking of a Mushkin PAPA Clock, IBM Deskstar 8.4 Gb HD, PCI Ensoniq, MATROX:G200-8MB-AGP, SUPERMICRO:750A ATX 300W case with lots of cooling...obviously other components...opinions, recommendations?

Zp & Sp (ots)

Last minite (before the holiday) email from Jon concerning plugging/unplugging 2 drive 2 OS install:

C: is with w98, and D: is with WNT. You can boot from either
by changing the bios boot disk from C to D. So Im expecting to ship your
order today. We werent able to add drivers to the computer, but aside from
that, everything looks good and both OS's run well.

Thanks!
Jon

Sounds workable to me. IF c=98 and D=nt then I switch in Bios to boot from (D=nt) will (D=nt) become C?

We werent able to add drivers to the computer

He means updated drivers, I assume?
