Geez Uri, nice to hear from you but you sure fooled me. Now 17, amazing! I remember being on one of your first IRC chats with Butch and the headguy from Neuropro. He was such a jerk (not Butch, the NP guy) that I couldn't believe this outfit was for real. Unfortunately, I set my suspicions aside.

I'm a lot older than you and should have been wiser, I suppose. But as I look back at how I fell into the SNCG trap, there were a number of elements that caught me -- 1) I was a Flexquote user and thought it was innovative & terrific (that Peter Lynch thing); 2) Richard and Dion were so available and nice guys that I couldn't believe the company they worked for wasn't legit; 3) the SI community of the folks you mentioned (except for DJ) provided me with a sense that others shared my view; 4) the stock was cheap and, foolishly, I thought I could make a killing; and 5) I just wanted to believe in it.

Of course, in retrospect, I wished I had believed David when he burst on the board in those crazy, misspelled, ranting of Apocalypse Now. But I, like others, was put off by that persona and assumed it was some kind of scam being played on us. I came to respect his DeeJay voice, but not til much later when essentially it was too late.

Like you Uri, I too still hold my SNCG shares (value=.007 each), out of neglect, certainly not nostalgia. And, I can't say that SNCG is the only mistake I've made in the market the last few years, but I have moved on and I won't make that kind of mistake again (I hope).

Good luck to you Uri. Regarding SNCG, my favorite quote from Kinky Friedman (in my profile) seems appropriate.

Best wishes, Kip
