<<Any idea what the rate of increase of flash storage capacity is? Faster or slower than the std DD? (At a reasonable price of course...) Is the cost/MB decreases the same/faster/slower? 60MB is obviously WAY to small for almost everything these days. Is there anyway that technology will ever reach typical PC user storage demand? todd >> Without having looked at recent trends, my impression is that Moore's law has applied to the progresssion of both leaving flash still way behind (too expensive). So I believe the answer remains that flash won't catch up in the foreseeable future.
