Your analysis sure looks good.

I went and looked at the egghead.com site. It's easy to navigate through, similar to COOL's.

Their sales are about double COOL's and they have about the same number of shares outstanding. I spent some time looking at their quarterly report. Their operating costs (advertising, admin, etc) are now about the same as COOL's. For the last quarter (Sept), their online sales are up 73% from the year previous. I think that some of that cost was attributed to the shutting down of their retail stores. Their quarterly statement is still a little confusing because of the switch from retail to e-tail.

The only difference I see between COOL and EGGS is that Cyberian's sales increased by $11 million - 250% (I think) from 2Q 97 to 2Q 98 while Eggheads sales increased by $15 million or so - 73%. The real numbers make a different presentation than the percentage presentation. Cyberian's sales look like they're growing more than three times as fast as Egghead's if you look only at the percentages.

I haven't bought EGGS yet, but I'm thinking about it.
