Come on Bill before the embargo these children got the food. No way can you compare Africa torn with civil war to Iraq ruled with an iron hand by Saddam. Besides Saddam would use the end of the embargo to make political hay.To show the world that it was the mean US of A that was the cause of children dying. He would have no reason to starve his people as long as they behaved. End of the embargo could also be brokered by the UN thus assuring that the people get fed.Remember unlike the Africa example an end of the embargo means oil sales by Iraq lots of money to feed both solders and civilians. pez
