Doug: Your usual positive glass-is-half-full-rather-than-half-empty comments! Always nice to read one of your upbeat posts! Let's hope the POG can show some sign of life/heartbeat in the first few months of 1999. Otherwise, it'll have to be put down with a bullet to the head. I'm pulling heavily for the POG. Everyone loves an underdog. It's trying. I dearly hope it makes it, but the POG's survival has never looked so grim before. The obituary has already been prepared for the poor POG: "It gave its best, tried to be fair to all, loved by many. R.I.P.". Dr. Dave is sitting next to its bed, whispering in its ear: "You can make it, POG, you can make it!". I guess we'll just have to wait as the plasma drip feeds into its feeble veins. Heavy and laboured breathing ....
