The Radicals fired their big impeachment guns, using their best ammo, perfect sights, and ..... missed. A dozen republicans are slinking back to the censure camp, The Senate is likely to drop impeachment and censure the House (G), There are 4 house republicans who drafted a proposal to the Senate as to why they should censure. These 4 voted for impeachment in the house and last night I heard one of them defend their reasoning on the radio. Even the announcer seemed peeved with questions like "if you dont feel that these are high crimes, why did you vote impeachment since it CLEARLY states the objective is removal of the president".... then a very weak answer from this guy. Obviously these 4 didnt have the guts to stand up to their own leadership. Does anybody have a list of these house republicans? I think they should be stoned for this behavior! One point in their defense however is the fact that censure wasnt available to them in the house and they felt the line fell to the impeachment side vs. the "Clinton walks" side, especially since they may have guessed actual impeachment was not likely. Sort of a Louise Woodward jury problem, once you remove the correct option there is always a chance the extremists will win which is Im sure why censure was not an option in the house. Michelle
