I spent 8 hard years working in child abuse and you are absolutely dead right but I would put the figure at 95% or higher

Sharon, I know you work in the field but I really have to disagree with you. The conservatives stand for family values and take more responsibility for rearing their children with quality care and training. In my view most liberals care less about the family unit, have far more single family homes and feel it is the responsibility of the "village" to rear the child. Consequently, he or she ends up learning their values on the "street" and end up in bad situations. I believe the conservatives have it all over the liberals on the quality of the children they raise. I believe the difference is they take personal responsibility for the rearing where the liberals (a) don't consider marriage or family important and (b) don't feel a strong personal responsibility but feel it is the charge of the government or someone else.
