The danger here is that real corruption, the kind even Clintonoids would recognize, now has cover. The cost of whistle blowing now is higher than it's ever been. Banana republicdom here we come.

Winter enough for ya yet? Saw pictures of grim Chicagoites trudging down the street, steaming like old locomotives. Up in Duluth this weekend -17F. Warmed up to 0 so we bundled up the kids and took them sliding. They toughened up since last year. After an hour and a half had to drag them off the hill. Coarse they had so many clothes on they didn't need sleds. Just dragged them up the hill and rolled 'em down like bowling balls. [I'm lying].

Borzou,

I agree that it is not a positive development. What I find amusing is that the very same Republicans who thought it was fair game to drag President Clinton's private life into a civil lawsuit, and then, over the internet and on national and international television, are also the very same guys who are crying "Foul!" now...

Well, there are few takers for that. Very few takers -- other than some fringe fanatics, rabid right-wingers and leftover lunatics, that is.

What goes around... comes around.
