Thanks for the F/A crunch; TB. VRC - Varco, eh? I've never liked TDW - Tidewater much; it's really transport rather than one of the three OSX.X sector's sub-sectors: "drillers", "machinery&equip" or "services".

T/A-wise, bellwethers SLB & HAL are almost 100% auto-correlated, and perhaps the safest holdings; though FSESX - Fidelity Select Energy Services Fund is the easy way to bet on oilers in '99.

BHI has a historical average PE of 56.4.
NBR has a historical average PE of 47.8.
