Asia is down again. It seems that there was no significant impact to US mkt during last few sessions from global mkt conditions. One possible reason may be that the fund managers are loading up on stocks especially the ones that had a good run up for year end showing. Weak global mkt conditions, continuation of turmoil in russia, brazil, indonesia, and parts of asia, very little profit growth forecast and the recent run up will collectively fuel the downward trend starting just before qtr earnings release in Jan. imo.

"CSCO can easily get down to 50$ in bad mkt condition." I think you're right. It helps to be reminded of the risks involved. Being aware of those risks helps investors stay out of positions with potentially devastating consequences. Happy holidays, PW. P.S. CSCO can easily go up further than anyone can imagine too. I've experienced both! P.P.S. On the Dell thread, several posters who have made a million are calling themselves Dellionaires. What should the Cisco millionaires call themselves? Ciscares? How about the Microsoft investors? Softairs? Billairs? Micairs? What about all three? WinDelCoaires? Or even worse, multiples in each stock Win3Del2Co3aires? Come to think of it, this would make a nice system password -- easy to remember, letters and numbers, and must be changed frequently. Thread: Sorry about the ramble. Christmas shopping shellshocked!
