JC, AOL's inclusion in the SP 500 is significant for two reasons: 1. many shares will have to be bought by index funds, this will create a lot of buying power in a stock that is already in a major uptrend. and 2. it gives, perhaps belatively, credence to the internet stocks. You are correct that AOL's float differentiates it from ebay, amzn, etc. i think aol will blast off over the next few days and weeks. AOL is now my largest position, passing CD in dollar value. larry

Hi! Can anyone tells me when the news for AOL "will add" into SP500 was announced, normally that should have been announced a few weeks earlier before it take effective.
I am a little surprised on this one.
Thanks
