If what you say is true, wouldn't the shorts go all-out to push the price of FLC below $5.00, so that many brokers would not allow it to be margined? If so, then it would be prudent to wait a bit, IMHO.

Why do you think DLJ is any nobler than any of the other firms? Because they agree with your position? Why wouldn't you think they raised the rating in order to get out of a position before year-end?

I'm not saying they did or did not. Of course, I have no idea.

Good luck in any event. I'd like to make some money on FLC as well. It could be a rough few days, though, as I see no reason for the shorts to stop pounding the stock until the momentum shifts.
