Teddy and thread,

Well after reading through all the posts on SI, Yahoo and Motley about Global Crossing, checking out the prospectus, and thinking about the international bandwidth crunch that is about to hit, I took the plunge and bought my first shares of GBLX this morning. I'm not too worried about my entry price since I have confidence this stock will do well in 1999 and beyond.

The more I learn, the more my portfolio resembles a bandwidth mutual fund. My goal is to get the top stock in each area of the coming bandwidth bottleneck ... by land (Worldcom), by air or last mile (Winstar), and now by sea with Global Crossing.

My only short term concern with this stock (and it is low level since I am in for the long haul (no pun intended)) is the impact that will occur when executives and investors begin to sell off their IPO shares in a few months (I think Feb?). Perhaps this will cause a temporary dip in the price and present a good buying opportunity.

regards,
mazman
