I have been investing in MSFT (and call options), AOL, INTEL, DELL, Walmart, and Tommy Hilfiger (I have unloaded TOM only because it is not a large cap - the same reason I have not bought Canadian stocks lately).
At the present, I am very focussed on MSFT. I think some analyst is going to come out early January and upgrade or raise earnings estimates - and I base this partly on the internet phenomena and partly due to the weakening DOJ case. Not too many analysts have recomendations on internet stocks and my guess that raising MSFT's target price will be their way of giving the thumbs up to the internet. Another angle could be that due to the internet, some analysts that don't like high PEs(and have the stock at a buy or lower) would be willing to recommend MSFT without worrying about its PE.
