The flight would have carried the U.N. Iraq-Kuwait Observer Mission, or UNIKOM team, from Jordan to Habaniyya air base outside Baghdad. The Iraqi government also ordered an assessment of civilian and military losses from the U.S.-British military airstrikes last week, saying it intends to ask the U.N.
