opala, once again just think about change in domicile in a generic way. Does change in domicile make sense for a bioteck that presently has a low fair value but might in the future generate significant revenues from outside the U.S.??

I don't think it's a question of investors in XOMA being smarter or professional managers being dumber. It is more a question of difference in approach. Read Cramer at TSC to see why money managers are forced to move into internet stocks. And while he did not write about biotech professional money managers, they also must go with what is hot and moving and cannot dedicate themselves to long shots. Sturza for example will only look at XOMA if and when Neuprex is approved. Not say all follow this approach and we know 54 institutional investors hold some XOMA. But the approach has been right by keeping them out of things that have declined or been dead money for years.

If Neuprex is approved and the stock moves above $5 and still fails to generate professional biotech investor interest I will be more concerned.

Re: Recent Price Action

Have you noticed whenever the price gets
to nearly $3 heavy buying comes in??

Also we are not alone in buying XOMA.
We have 50+ funds owning 8.7% of X, up
from 8% just a couple months ago.
I believe many funds and investors are waiting
for word on BPI. Then they will jump in with
both feet, but until that happens(because of X's past)
I believe they are sitting on the sidelines holding
their money. The move from 8 to 8.7 shows me
some are slowly adding to their positions as we all
expect some news "soon".
