Yes, splits sure have done wonders for stocks in the last year, as fools buy who are
sure that greater fools will buy becuase the stocks split. That game will work until it
doesn't. If the inch were redefined to be what two inches used to be you might be
pleased to hear that your girlfriend now has a twenty inch waist, but you'll eventually
figure out that your riding a fat chick.


Very true, but I think there are enough greater fools out there to let the game run past Jan 99 :) We've all been here awhile now, but there are still new people out there..

Say, how does a 401(k) plan work? (I'm a Canadian) Can you buy stock with it? Is there some cut off date for contributions early in the year? (ie a large influx of money sometime soon?)
