Well......I can't say I buy it. Any kind of US strike would have absolutely no support right now unless it was a counterpunch. And I can't see Iraq going on the offensive in its current condition.

Is it possible that this is simply a bunch of re-supply missions to replenish the armaments expended in the last round?

As far as other military offensives being generated by mid-eastern countries - well, if they're Muslim countries, that would be unlikely too. This is the holy month of Ramadan, and military/political agendas are usually muted in deference to the significance of the holiday.
