I have entered AOL via NSCP as there is some disparity between two.
As per the deal 1 NSCP = 0.45 AOL.
Based on a price of $140 for AOL, NSCP should be trading at $63.
But is trading at 59.75. So I am getting 5% discount.
But there is a risk in that if the deal does not go through
I will be holding bag.

What is the influence of funds holding NSCP on buying
AOL to get even with SP 500?
Any idea?

KG,
It seems that 33 million shares is the amount that needs to be purchased to balance the fund holdings. There is talk around the shop that AOL will sell some shares directly to the funds, they have about 15 million authorized they can sell directly.
