Hi, Brumell. I suspect the rise is principally from two major factors, one post- and one pre-. The recent deal to get Eldorado out of Longyear has finally cleared that overhanging issue. Now the stock appears to be rising in anticipation of drilling on Longyear, which is to start sometime in January, I understand. We might also be seeing the ending of some tax loss selling, but I don't think that is particularly important.

I am hoping to see the stock rise further as we approach the time for the Longyear drilling. It's been a long wait, but some good drill holes will bring higher prices and possibly a solid JV partner.

I hope this helps clarify things for you. For your information, I am a shareholder only. Keith Schaefer, EGD's IR, is worth contacting. He'll give you straight information.

Cheers!

Steve
