I agree David. I was just thinking about CPQ and how
this alone would justify a 3Com upgrade. This with
beating INTC in the network sector, contracts with HP,
and getting rid of CPQ
competition puts COMS at much, much stronger point
competitively. It's somewhat mind-boggling when
we really start thinking about it.

Are analysts smart enough to notice this and work it
into their calculations????

David, do IBM and Toshiba too use 3Com's network cards?
Go ahead and make you complaint on Compaq thread :).

As a long term Compaq investor (as well as 3Coms's), I have been giving some comments on Compaq's problems. The only comment I posted on 3Com here a while ago was that I was very satisfied with their modem for which they gave me two more free upgrades (to 33K and then 54K) and hoping that their over generosity be rewarded by their loyal customers.

Are we getting rewarded or what?
