Zev Lithium in ore form is extremely abundant. In pure metallic form it of course does not exist in nature. Cyprus Foote Mineral Company claims to be the largest producer of lithium compounds in the world. They are headquartered in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. I think, essentially they are a mining operation. They have a Web site (sorry I don't know it). In all probability, lithium markets will not be significantly be impacted by battery use because the compounds are cheap and easy to produce. Michael
