Catalogue retailers: MZON.. Analysts will have to 'clear their heads' and come to grips with the internet revolution. In the midst of research both technical/fundamental on some catalogue retailers I came across one of the most reputable 'brokerages' you ever want to meet. They gave MZON a 'sell' and 0 ranking.. an unattractive... I never even saw a 0 before. Of course I'm sure they will rush to correct this.. On the other side of the continuum another analyst in his haste gave out a 'buy' signal this evening on MZON but failed to change the results of their last analysis so it looked like this: MZON has well below average safety with well below average upside potential. It reflects a stock which is likely to give well below average, inconsistent returns over the long term. yet it got a buy signal this afternoon.. Please don't private e-mail me because I wouldn't want to give out information that could lead to embarrassment for the company/analysts involved and the rest you can understand, but just note this in your own DD.
