<<If that complaint registers, it might help them keep the ILECs out of their long distance revenue streams a bit longer>> I am sure this idea was on their objectives list - it's just plain good old American competitive strategy and they would be guilty of malfeasance if they did not use this weapon; however, there may also be some sort of a Trojan Horse strategy here. I am trying to figure it out and I am wondering out loud if they are going to try to bypass the RBOCS by connecting DSLAMS to their switches and build direct connections to the end user somehow.
