Jim & All:

First of all, I would most happily be rendered obsolete if said event happened in tandem with a "slightly" more appropriate valuation for a erstwhile prodigal child. Having slogged through this bull-bear debate for over five years, I often wonder whether I should have bought Pfizer, i.e. the vendor of Prozac, as a hedge for our Qualcomm position. Nevertheless, brought up the miscreant that I am and believing in a most Polyannish fashion, that right makes might, I remain bruised, slightly bloodied, but most definitely unbowed. I will also go so far as to predict that 1999 will be the year when what should be obvious today becomes incontrovertible fact. The white hats will win; long-live the white hats!

Maurice...thanks for the wit, infectious good humor and thought provoking commentary.

Clark Hare...thanks for your thoughtful technical perspective, your fastidious detail-oriented analysis process and your near-infinite patience.

Engineer...thanks for making the time to participate and your considerable technical insight. Beyond this, acknowledging your specific situation, a special thanks for undertaking the risks involved with your efforts to separate truth from science fiction.

Walt Houston...thanks for your technical expertise, your patience and your good humor!

Jim...thanks for your insight, consistency and professionalism. The same can, and should, be said for Valueman.

Mike Doyle...thanks for keeping us sane!

DaveMG...thanks for being the perennial "doubting Thomas"

Mike Piturro...thanks for your relentless information gathering efforts...you have often beaten my Bloomberg with your posts!

Tero...thanks for succinctly demonstrating the line between good and evil <<gg>>.

Mika...even as we differ, thanks for your passion and, to a greater degree, thanks for your respect of the truth!

Obviously I have left out some important members of our on-line family, including Jon, John Scurzi, Jason (even if he does short the stock occasionally), Jim Lurgio and others. So to everyone (with the specific exception of Marc Cabi), I would like to extend my best wishes for a happy Holiday Season and a prosperous, successful and health New Year!

Cheers everyone!!

Gregg

jim -

$300 per share?

Firstly since IPR issues figure on this thread I claim authorship to the expresion "Natural Home" and as such I defined it where the "Natural Home" in fact exists i.e in the $40's and not sadly in the $80's. If it were to have set up house in what for the Q is undoubtedly the stratosphere I wouldn't have been posting sarchastic comments.

Secondly the projected revenue numbers you quoted would even exceed those of AMZN and AOL but since the Q is not Qualcomm.com, an internet site how could its stock ever hope to increase by more than a few single digit % per annum?

Thirdly I agree with Gregg...1999 is the year of the Q. Come hell or high water this stock IS going to make it and get recognized starting in nine days time.

Regards,

L

I too went phone shopping for gifts. I found it frustrating that TDMA is much more prominently displayed here in south Florida. I bought a 6120 for my father in law, and A Q dualmode for a friend. There are few Q-phones around and CDMA startac is nowhere to find. Its really to bad there is no Q-flip, it would have done quite well. I find that the average consumer is looking for a phone, not a system. In that regard Nokia is really way ahead of everyone else. In CDMA however their phone sat un touched. They seem to be blown away by our Q-2700.
