Looks like a strong close for the OSX today. Just what the doctor ordered.

Hi Slider...

However, I am talking about TRADING OIL. With a portfolio of massively underwater oil drillers stocks I am holding for LT, I am trading this mkt (occasionally the oils...) for trading profits.

I have to tell you that you are bound by a very small range. That's all I am saying. Percentage wise it's reasonable for a trade, but I think it's more like the OSX will surf from mid-high 40 to 60ish for over a year. I don't see a breakout.

I've already made my commitment for LT in the oil patch. Unfortunately it was too early. Now, I prefer more trading action, and something a little faster.

I bought some NE for a breakout trade a couple of weeks ago. It was around the time of the war. The same day BS was shorting it. Guess who won (it wasn't me...). I sold at a loss. I moved some dough to CMGI in the 70's and took it to 100 or so in 3 days. Investing? Gambling? No...trading.

As for the OSX, it may LOOK like a triple bottom or quadruple bottom, but I've read aboutthese so called "above double" bottoms, and they are not considered as such.

Best of luck finding the bottom. It's in here somewhere....
